While all new Dog Guard® complete systems come with standard nylon collars for the receivers, we also want to make you aware of another option we offer. Lupine® makes patterned collars specifically for our Dog Guard® containment systems. All Lupine collars are 100% guaranteed. If anything should happen to accidentally damage your Lupine collar (including chews!) Dog Guard® of SE Michigan will replace it at absolutely no cost to you!
The Lupine receiver collars are available in 2 width sizes. The 3/4″ is appropriate for small to medium breeds. They are generally intended for dogs under 35 lbs. The 1″ width collar is designed for larger breeds of dogs weighing over 35 lbs. Each width comes in a variety of sizes. To determine the correct size for your dog, measure snugly around the middle of the neck, then add an additional 5% for comfort.
All 3/4″ and 1″ patterns are made specifically to work with Dog Guard receivers. These collars do not have a D ring and are not intended for leash-walking.
Walking collars and leashes are available and may be ordered for purchase. Please inquire if interested.
